Find the Lorax

How many of you are aware of the Lorax? He's a passionate activist and cares very deeply about his causes. We feel very similar to the Lorax and hold a lot of passion and excitement for the event to come. Making it right for YOU, the gardeners. We feel privileged to be in this position now when we get to look at all your requests and design this event to the best of our capacity, to suit your needs. All our conversations now are really exciting and we can promise you, that what we have in store might be unpredictable or unexpected but you'll walk away with knowledge and experiences you didn't have before you arrived. Like the Lorax we are truly invested in making this the best community engagement and knowledge producing experience that you've been to in Perth for a while.

The WA Community Garden Network (WACGN) is an informal network of WA community gardens and their supporters. Established in 2004, the network has played a significant role in bringing together people involved in community gardens to share ideas and skills, work collaboratively and provide a voice for the community garden sector in WA.

The WA Community Garden Gathering 2018 Committee first met in May 2017 in North Perth. The Committee meets regularly (every 2 weeks) with three working groups; Planning, Engagement and Strategic Direction, busily working to bring to fruition an event with a difference. Our meetings often run late into the night as we discuss, debate and imagine this event together. We are excited and hope you will be too!
